I actually wonder y sourav dada was not born in England... becoz if he had been then surely he wud have been called "SIR Sourav Ganguly"... but dada's omission is not so surprising becoz this is the best exit that we INDIANS give to great players.. eg. kapil dev, azhar etc...
Here is a player who has proved himself in each and every role.. a great team man(may b some wont agree but its truth that he even fought wid selecters for Sehwag and bhajji when he was the captain) , a great motivater who always lead from front, a man who made a tremendous comeback of all time in the history of world cricket..Wat was his mistake? His mistake is that he is born in india... and not england where even a fussy player who somehow managed to score 6000 test runs and not even 1000 ODI runs is also treated as all time great (Best example Michel Atherton)..
Surely dada has done enough in last year or so after his comeback both in ODIs and tests.. Selectors said that they want a better fielding side.. now plz some1 tell me how gud a fielder is sehwag? He didnt even score enough runs that he could have been a strong contender.. Its time that we shud all raise our voice against this injustice... such a great player shud not be treated so shabbily... He deserves a Grand exit and its upto us to do something for Dada who has done so much for us..

All hail Lord Snooty
Few called him arrogant, few called him Lord Snooty, few called him selfish. Love him or hate him but you can't ignore him, Sourav Ganguly has seen it all and is all set to play his 100th test match. That is some achievement.
Ganguly’s comeback is the stuff of fairy tales.
There were some silly insinuations about the reasons he wanted to carry on playing and one of them being the money aspect. Ganguly comes from a family that has a good business running successfully for a long time still and so that would have been the last of the reasons that he wanted to continue playing. Ironically, that accusation of playing for money comes from people who haven’t exactly had successful businesses themselves and who are prepared to come to places where there is an anti feeling against them.
There were some other good performances too, especially from the batsmen with Yuvraj scoring a scorching century in his come back to the India team and also a finely compiled century from another comeback man Irfan Pathan, who also suffered like Ganguly but kept persisting with his efforts to make it back in the Test squad.
Then, just across the waters in Sri Lanka, that ultimate stylist Mahela Jayewardene painted an innings of such brilliant strokes that England looking to level the series had to take evasive action to save the Test and stay in the Series. Some stubborn batting from their captain Michael Vaughan and the weather helped them to salvage a draw and keep their hopes alive. Muralidharan captured yet another fiver and for Ishant Sharma it was his first in Test cricket so the bowlers too had their say.
The Prince of Kolkata was on the verge of joining a select list of those who have got a double century and a century in the same Test match but was agonizingly dismissed 9 short of the mark. Still that Test match and the Series belonged to only him.
I wish him all the best for the future and i hope he continues to serve India for a long time..

My 1st Blog
Hello guys, i m writing my 1st blog. I feel its a great place to express what you feel... I was thinking about making 1 since a long time but finally i made it here.. Its 3:30 in the morning, I have my exams going on and I m making a blogspot account at a time when all my focus shud be on my studies.. Its always strange that when u have so much of time for all these stuff, u never think abt it.. but when u really have a loads and loads of work to do, all these stuff comes to ur mind naturally but thats how life is.
